SHOPPING CARTS

Shopping Cart Technology allows users to shop online in an analogous way to shopping at a store. Initially, customers enter the store with an empty shopping cart. As they find products that they are interested in purchasing, they click on the "Add to Cart" button to add the item to their shopping cart. At any time during their shopping experience, customers can review the contents of their shopping cart, changing quantities and deleting items as necessary. Just like they would do at a real store, when shopping is completed, they proceed to the "checkout area" to submit payment for their items. Here taxes and shipping charges are also calculated . Once payment and shipping information is submitted the customer is given a digital receipt to keep for their records.
